Written for your children, not children in general
Tell us their ages once. The verse and the big idea stay shared, but the question and the challenge arrive in a version for each age at your table, addressed to them by name. A four year old gets something they can do without help. A fifteen year old gets a question they will actually answer honestly.
A note only the parent sees
Every devotional carries a short note at the bottom: what a strange answer probably means, what not to correct, and which follow-up question opens the conversation instead of ending it. It is the part that turns a reading into a conversation.
